That's my boy!

Poor A has the flu, and she had the luck to be struck while on the Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day ride at WDW. Twice.

B2 was a great help, as he always is when bossing is needed. J's email:

"We did go to Disney yesterday. A kept saying she was feeling better... she threw-up on the Winnie the Pooh ride- yep- people were sitting right behind us...then she threw-up when she got off...they gave her a voucher to buy new pants! We obviously went home at that point.

Flu, I guess. Great. B2 will have a wonderful time when he gets it. Yesterday he LOUDLY kept telling A "GET IT ALL OUT A! JUST THROW UP- IT OKAY A- JUST GET IT ALLLLLL OUT!!! JUST THROW UP!!!" Uggghhhhhhhhhhh...

She got a pair of ugly pink stoned Princess sweatpants and changed into them there. Yuck. She even insisted that I push her out to the car in a wheelchair after I could no longer carry her on my back. (While B2 is yelling "LOOK OUT PEOPLE!!! WATCH OUT EVERYBODY!!!" in his bossiest tone, trying to keep his hands on the wheelchair the best he could.)

To quote B2, 'Good times, good times.' "

For some reason I keep picturing Disney World as being this huge petri dish......

I am sad to hear that even people in Florida get the stomach flu. I like to think of Florida as being above such things.

Poor A, poor J...but it sounds like B2 had lots of fun! I hope A will feel better quickly and that the others won't get it.

B2 is always ready at the rescue!

Oddly, FLorida is the only state that has no big flu epidemic, unlike every other state. Wouldn't you think, with all the entertainment and vacation ops there, that it would be a hotbed of flu fermentation? That's how I always think of WDW!!!

Hmmmm...rethinking eventual vacation to Florida. I've never had a desire to be a specimen in a petri dish...LOL

Poor little thing!!! Sure hope A is feeling better. Nothing worse than seeing a child sick. What a trooper B2 was!

B2 has a very inflated sense of his own importance, I'm afraid. He strides into store, WDW, anyplace, waving to everyone, yelling, "Hi! Hi!" and doesn't care when no one responds. So when there's a real "emergency" he's there to step up to the plate.

LOL Nancy, but oh heavens it's so true! I love the place, and since J works there, we go pretty often (free!!!hahahahahaha), but every time I think of all these people from all over the world flying to and from Florida, and how fast illness can travel these days.

Does it stop me? Hell no!
