Well, this is what she sent to me:

Two skeins of this beautiful 100% wool Palermo (just the name makes me drool!) and a little sachet to keep the buggies away. It smells sooo good!

But what made me sit in my car and laugh out loud for the longest time was this:

I started reading it that night. It's very funny and just what I needed.

What gorgeous yarn and I will have to look for that book! I'm such a lightweight (read: cheap drunk)...I have to stop after just ONE glass of wine..hehehe
How was the book "Knitting under the Influence?" Do you recommend it? By the way, your knitting blog header is very nice.
