Our slice of the mountain

Looking toward Virginia.

Zippy frolics on the "lawn".

Our stream.

Another view.

Whatever this is, it's really cool. I guess it's moss or (my mind has gone blank) "flowers"?

Chester covers his business. He looks a little too sublimely happy.

Mushroom forest.

The King is pleased with his kingdom.

Wow - what a beautiful place you live in. Now I understand why you brave the scary drive!

I really love Zippy, too. :)

That's really pretty, Rita.

And Chester is still one impressive cat.

I love that first picture of Chester...he looks so happy! And Zippy is also very cute, as usual.

Enjoy your day off.

Zippy's a doll. He loves playing in the grass with Chester, and he's my velcro baby. It is beautiful, and it's worth the drive every day!

Chester's gorgeous, and he's a real sweetie, too. Believe it or not, he's the smallest of our three cats. Lily's small, but she's the size of a bowling ball!

A day off, finally. Heavenly! Zippy enjoyed his slumber party with Kipper!

Zippy and Kipper coexist very nicely. Zippy is the only dog that Kip allows near his food dish. I think that he thinks that Zippy is a cat.

I'm glad that you enjoyed your day off. It's always nice to have a long weekend. And, the weather was beautiful today, which made it an even nicer day off.

Count down those days until school is out!

13. Days till school ends for the kids. I work one day after that, find a way to skip graduation for the 6th straight year, then work two or three days the next week to make up my sick leave deficit. After that, I don't know how long Mary and I will work, probably till the end of June like last year.

Zippy thinks he's a cat, too, so he and Kipper are on the same wavelength.
