Sure, sure, sure. Part of your charm is how long it takes, not to mention the number of contests you've held. Does the fact that you didn't ask me for an address bode ill or well? I suppose the fact that I sent it to you a few days ago does help.

I'm standing out in the freezing temps, snow and ice waiting by the mailbox. I'm turning blue....

No, it bodes well, since you already sent yours! Don't shiver too long; should I send some moonshine along with the gifties?

I have gotten all of the items gathered, separated into piles of who gets what, and I have addresses written down. Bis will get his cd in the same padded envelope that he used to send me a cd at least 4 years ago!

So you can see just how industrious I was yesterday.

I am such a procrastinator......

That IS impressive that you could locate a 4 year old mailer. I mean that sincerely, sorta.

Sorta works here. I'm a hoarder when it comes to things like that. I hate to throw out good envelopes and boxes. Tom makes me throw things away, but HE saved the Bis envelope when he found it!

Oh I save them and reuse them too - why create more junk in the world or pay for another envelope when a label stuck over the old one will do. However, locating THE envelope that something came in 4 years ago is the impressive part in my mind.

If it had been a regular envelope, it'd have been burned, but one with padding--now, that's worth keeping! Plus it was from Bis.

Hey - this sounds serious.

Bis is an old friend from the Dave Barry blog; he was just a tadpole in those days.

I "met" him and his then-girlfriend-now-wife, Erin, right after I met Tom.

I didn't mean the envelope business sounded serious. I meant the fact that you're acquiring addresses and envelopes sound serious. Really serious. Right?

They are predicting more snow here again tomorrow. Bummer.

Really really serious. I actually have several ready to mail!
