I'm not a football fan. In fact, I dislike all sports. I missed the sports gene, and I'm sincerely happy about it.
So, while people everywhere are celebrating football, I'll be trying very hard not to know who's playing.
Thank you for indulging me.

I didn't get the sports gene, either, thank goodness. I pride myself on not knowing who is playing in the SuperBowl, although the media certainly doesn't make that easy. However, sometimes they do get someone good to sing at halftime, if you can figure out when that might be without actually having to watch any football. It's a challenge.
Broooooce doesn't appeal to me, so I'll skip it. And I guess that we can always watch the decent commercials online after the event.
I too pride myself on not knowing who's playing or where (Tampa) (that only got through because it's in Florida). When anyone mentions the superwhat, I yell "NOOOOOOOOOOO! I don't want to know!" Makes me real popular.

Ah, Broooooce. I must say that I do enjoy some of his music. "The Rising" is very beautiful and I admit to having one of his older CDs.
I didn't even know that the game was played in Tampa! I thought that these football teams took great pride in playing in snow and cold weather, as if to show how macho they are.
Or in howling wind and rain so they can get good and muddy.
I too have Broooce's older albums, and I do mean albums--vinyl.
Speaking of whom , Broooce was played on XM Cross Country quite a bit after his last album came out. And you say you don't like "country"!

I haven't heard any of Bruce's recent stuff, so I can't say if I like it or not! But, he did a super job at halftime yesterday! And, I mangaged to catch the halftime show without watching any football.
I hear he may have hurt himself when he slid into a camera or something.
