T-Day, for real

It was delivered today. Yes, boys and girls, Saturday is officially Twilight Day.

Mark it on your calendar. Or not, it's up to you.

I may not have to kill Target after all.

I bought from Amazon way back when you could first pre-order it.. but what they didn't tell me was that Target has this 3 disk edition and amazon only offers 2! However, I got an email on the 17th telling me that the movie had shipped but that they couldn't promise I would have the film on the day of release but they gave me a free 24hr rental... and then! they gave me cash back!

So I am kinda frustrated about not being able to order the 3disk from amazon and now I have 2 versions of the same movie all for the bonus features.. lol obsessed much? I think I am...

Joan said...Well, I cannot comment on Twilight because I know nothing about it. But I saw the Huey Lewis thingy and clicked on it, wanting to help save him, and since I don't know what that guy wants from me, or how to give it, I'll just say it here: I like Huey's music. And you, Rita, took me to see him in concert once, in the 80's, I'm guessing, and he was good. J was there. She was wild about him. It was at an amphitheater in Maryland, I believe. I like hearing Huey's music. May I help with anything else?

Hey - the other IT arrived! I can't believe it. Thanks - thanks for the yarn and the CD's. Can't wait to listen to them.

I came thisclose to ordering the movie from Amazon, but then I found the Target offer and had to go with that. I mean, all this extra stuff? I should have checked YouTube Sat. morning; I bet that everything extra was on there already.

So yeah. If had the extra $20, I'd have ordered two of them too. As it is, I'm too stingy to give someone my free iTunes download, although I can't imagine what use I'll have for it.

I wondered how long it would take before someone mentioned Huey. Somehow I ended up on a blog that mentions him. I think the guy is trying to get radio stations to play Huey's music instead of the crap they usually play. What the hell. I think it's amusing.

Merriweather Post Pavilion, August 1988. Betty was on vacation. I was on the verge of moving into my first house.

And you always know what guys want.
