So far at least two buses--full of children--have been in accidents and have to be towed. There have been many parents calling in saying that their kids have been in wrecks; at least two teachers have been in wrecks. My boss can't get off her street. Tardies have been totally suspended today because kids are just coming in when they can get in. Many buses are either stuck or haven't picked up kids at all.

Okay, the lot isn't as bad as I thought. Only two or three cars are blocked in with dumb parking.
And the weather forecast is calling for another wave of snow to come through starting any minute. Wanna bet we'll be here till 3:00 anyway?

We got the snow too. Our roads have been clean since last night. My Mom said that they cancled school where she lives. It just kills me that when I was in school they sent us in any weather. We went when there was an ice storm and the roads were a sheet of ice. Our bus driver couldn't even stop to pick us up. She would have to run the wheel into a curb to stop. She got us all picked up so we weren't standing in the weather waiting and said that if they didn't call off school that she was going to put the bus in a ditch so we all could go home. School was finally canceled, but with the little that we got there would have been no way school would have been canceled. What happeded to people? Why can't they drive in snow any more?
