Wow that Neo's sock has traveled. I bet it has some stories that it could share.

Rita, you make me laugh. I soooo know what you are going through girlfriend! Hang in there and make a quick stop at a LYS on your way home. It will do you some good and be kinder to your bottom than chocolate...am I right (NOT that you have a big bottom...just making a joke)

Love the Neo Sock btw!

XOXO
Marly

Poor Neo's sock, it's in the bottom of my little knitting knack sack. I finished the first one, got as far as the last 12 stitches on the second one, and lo and behold, it was an inch too short. Auuuugggggghhhhh! So I pulled out some pink and purple sock yarn and started another pair. For me. I finished the first one Monday and cast on for the second yesterday. That's as far as I got.

I'll get back to Neo's sock as soon as I have some patience, which I'm sorely lacking these days.

Tonia, I stop by your blog and click on the ads every chance I get. How does that work? Does it really bring in some money?

Marly, thank you so much for stopping in! And how did you know that I'm eating chocolate right this very minute? *looks suspiciously around office* Yeah, it's early, chocolate is the breakfast of champions and those of us with big butts.

Neo is a dear friend of mine and I promised waaaayyy back before it got cold last year that I'd make her a pair of socks before next winter. I might make that deadline.

As for the LYS, we have two wonderful independent LYS in town that both opened in the last two years, plus a fabric shop that carries a slew of yarn, plus a couple of chains, so as far as I'm concerned, this is Knitting Heaven. Unfortunately, I'm on a Yarn Diet and can't buy any more unless I have a really really good excuse like my husband's little niece didn't like the yarn her mommy chose for her socks. BUT--I'm lucky enough to be a knittin' member of the United Yorkie Rescue Organization and periodically receive nice big boxes of exquisite yarn to make cute little Yorkie sweaters.

Judging by my Yorkie yarn tub, no Yorkie will go unclothed next winter.
