WE GOT IT!!!

How nervewracking! Someone online was bidding against Tom and I was so afraid it would go higher than we could afford. But we got it!!!

Now *all* we have to do is pour a lot of money into it and fix it up......

    Tom will move down by the end of October. I'll go down for the closing, but I'll end up back home until June. Then I'll look for a job down there and move south!

    I cannot wait. You all know how much I hate winter. I think I'll be able to deal with a subtropical winter!

    And as soon as the place is ready for visitors, you'll be the first to know!
